African Expats Magazine at Dubai Fashion Week

The editorial team of African Expats Magazine Middle East had the honor of being invited to cover Dubai Fashion Week, which was taking place throughout the week (01-06 Sept 2025). We are truly delighted to participate in this unmissable event on the international fashion calendar and to share with you a few exclusive looks and catwalk images.

What is Dubai Fashion Week?

Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) has become one of the most important events in the global fashion scene. It brings together designers, brands, celebrities, media, and fashion enthusiasts from across the world. More than just runway shows, DFW is a global platform that celebrates innovation, creativity, and the diversity of talent.

Held twice a year, DFW features runway presentations, showcases, and exclusive meet-and-greets with both regional and international designers. It also serves as a strategic networking hub for the fashion industry, further positioning Dubai as a global creative and cultural hub. Our Impressions

As a Pan-African media outlet based in the Middle East, we are proud to be among the invited press, bringing visibility to African and Caribbean voices within this international space.

We truly enjoyed attending all the shows, where creativity and diversity shone on the catwalk. Beyond the runway, we had the pleasure of chatting with some of the best Afro-Caribbean fashionistas in Dubai, whose style and perspective continue to inspire.

In this article, we are sharing with you some of the standout looks and moments we captured throughout the week celebrating both the artistry of fashion and the vibrant community that makes Dubai Fashion Week such a unique experience.
